Droppings in unexpected places
Small dark specks behind the fridge, inside cabinet corners or along skirting are usually cockroach or rodent droppings. Their location tells a trained technician where the nest is.
Fine wood dust near furniture
Powdery deposits under wooden furniture or door frames often signal termite or borer activity inside the wood, long before any visible damage appears.

A sudden musty or oily smell
Large cockroach populations produce a distinctive oily odour. If a cabinet or drain area smells odd despite being clean, an infestation is likely developing out of sight.
Bites, night activity and sounds
Unexplained bite marks in the morning point to bed bugs, while scratching sounds in the false ceiling at night usually mean rodents. Both spread quickly and respond best to early treatment.
